Tour Plan
We travel towards the border crossingpoint St. Naum (for passport and customs control procedure). We
pass through the village of Tusemiste, inhabited by both Albanian and Macedonian population.
After that we arrive in Pogradec (coffee break) the only Albanian city on Lake Ohrid shore.
At the distance of about 20km lies the peninsula of Lin. You will have a unique opportunity to visit an authentic village. The top of
the peninsula hill is the base of an Early Christian basilica. You will notice the differences between the
two adjacent countries.
Beside the road, you will see fishmongers waving their catch of eel and trout, hoping they will find customers for them. In Macedonia, there is a ban on fishing these species, but not in Albania, meaning that this is a good opportunity to taste Ohrid Trout in some of the restaurants on the
Albanian shore of the Lake.
We are going to have lunch in a restaurant located between Pogradec and Lin. This route of 84 km will take us around the entire Lake. After the program is completed we return to the hotel.
